My new favorite restaurant. Real Italian food from an Italian chef. Ricardo is great chef and he was so nice checking with everyone if they like his food. The staff there are the nicest ever. I called to ask for a small gesture to celebrate my anniversary. They give me free cake with nice written on it and they sing a very nice song with a guitar. The song and the cake matched the occasion and it was more than what I asked for. I also order sweet and when they brought me something else they just told me to enjoy it for free and they brought what I ordered. The prices considering the food and the place are very reasonable. I got Pizza, Risotto, Salad and sweet it was 160 SAR with tax. I’m recommending this place to everyone I know.

Il Vero is one of finest Italian restaurants in town currently. Beautiful interior, excellent presentation and authentic Italian taste is what makes this restaurant unique. However, the menu is on the expensive end and with not so generous servings. But then you aren't going to this Kempinski special restaurant for the food and price, but for the overall experience. Must say, they live up to that part.

Wonderful place. Real italian foods. We tried pizza, salad, pasta, fish and steak. All were excellent. Price reasonable and staff service also perfect. Two thumbs up.

I was at Il Vero on 22-09-19, and as Italian I expected good quality good but.... we ordered simple Parmigiana (eggplant with tomatoes and mozzarella) and it was not fresh, just heated in oven, at least was a dish made 3/4 days previous, we ordered rice with asparagus and it was so salty that I couldn't eat... at the end I tried Tiramisù and was the only good thing that I eated that night.... unless they change chef it's a restaurant that I'll not go back... outside hotel nowadays in Khobar you can find better options....
