Amazing place with ancient Petrogylphs. We were sadly unable to visit as they are open only 4pm to 6pm on Friday and Saturday. Weekday opening hours are 8am to 3pm. This is according to the very helpful lady at the govt. Tourism helpline.

What a great price of history, and sneak peak into what life was like thousands of years ago.

A must visit sightseeing place in Hail region. A nice visitors office with clean rest rooms. Whole town is welcoming to visitors.

It was closed, but from the outside of the fence there are a few spots you can see the carvings, this place looks clean and nice. We called their office, and learned the site opens from 4-6pm on weekends (Friday and Saturday) , but during weekdays it opens from 8am to 3pm.

We happened upon the kind Bedouin official who let us in even after the area had closed (open from 9-3). The area is going through significant development as part of the Saudi tourism initiative; pathways and stairways are being built to see the fascinating historical rock paintings from 12000 years ago. Hope it retains its purity. The official took down our passport and visa information and allowed us in. He walked us around, and explained the area and a number of pictures. Beautiful site, wish we had more time to visit the village and soak in more of the beautiful Bedouin culture. The road leading in from Medina needs a 4WD but going out to Ha’il, it is paved and easy to drive through. I would love to go back one day if not just for Jubbah itself.
