This place must have seen better days. The construction in front of it had a toll on its accessibility. The decor is outdated but service was very friendly and prompt. We had different plates. Salads and appetizers were generally good. I had chicken panée which was very well made and béchamel macaroni which was rich and very tasty. My friends who had fish and grilled plates said they were average. I would go again for the same dishes I had.

Great authentic Egyptian eatery from the heart of Khan Khalil to Riyadh. The grilled meat dishes are exquisite and the general taste as good as they are in Cairo. If you're seeking comfort food with a good koushari effect, you won't do better. Service enthusiasm could do with a little boost... Not quite the jovial Egyptian hospitality that one would expect!
