Apart from what others mentioned about the qishas, this masjid has quite a special view. At the other side it has a Waterview, overlooking the river. When you go there during the dawn, it's quite pretty, with an open field section, riverview, the fresh morning breeze. Families must have spend good afternoon here

The near by garden is good during sunset time. It is not very wide and apparently not really the most clean one in the surrounding, yet the sunset view through the near by lake with the fresh air flow makes it a point to visit at least once

People say that this mosque is a place for public executions (qisas). This mosque is also a transit hub for Jamaat umroh. There are many Indonesian street food at the parking lot. You can buy bakso and rujak for 5 riyal.
