1) Ridiculously overpriced 2) Only able to handle beginners with 0 musical experience (electric guitar). 3) Good location, very friendly staff 4) Nice community for parents and their children I signed up for 16 classes for the guitar and have only been to 5 of them because I felt like I was wasting my time and money. If you are not a beginner, there is no set curriculum and the instructor was free-styling each class. He is a very friendly guy and a good guitarist, but he is disorganized and I can’t say I benefitted anything from the lessons. As a customer and student of the place, I have not received the benefits of the service I paid for. As the student, you’re supposed to be given tasks and exercises to practice during the week and demonstrate during class. This was not the case for any of my classes. I raised a complaint with management who tried to resolve my problem but the issue, again, is with the lack of organization on the part of the instructor. I was given a hastily prepared weekly plan but there was no idea on how it would be executed. However, if you have no musical experience or background, this is a good place to start because it keeps you on track. Just be aware that there are independent instructors out there giving lessons per hour at better rates and can visit you at home.
