Saudi Fisheries Company was established by Royal Decree No. 7 / M in 1980 as a Saudi joint stock company in the field of fishing mainly. The company's objective base was expanded to include the investment of living aquatic resources and related industries and marketing them internally and externally. The State contributes with 40% represented by the Public Investments Fund, and the remaining for individual investors with 60%. Saudi Fisheries Company is one of the first specialized companies in its field and has accumulated expertise and advanced infrastructure in the marine fishing, aquaculture, logistics, food industry, seafood and wholesale and retail commercial sector, as well as operating and managing a number of restaurants specializing in seafood.
